As a Christian Mom I have always really loved scriptures and verses put to good design that is original and not something you see everywhere. I’ve always loved simple statement pieces with a powerful message. If I were shopping for tshirts, wall art or home goods I would always be drawn to certain colors and aesthetics that popped or were unique in some way. I have loved designing Remnant House Home Goods pieces that were special in the selection of fabric, texture and visual appeal. The colors we chose were unique to a Home goods store in Sarasota Florida brand that would give a specialty brand that you were excited to come back to for an appeal to all your senses. Without realizing it we really did pick the varieties of coastal colors that we see everyday here in Sarasota Florida.  

Something I also love more than anything is finding the perfect Home goods store in Sarasota Florida gift for someone. I love to support local businesses but especially ones that are Christian owned. When I’m looking for a gift for someone I love finding something that evokes a personality and faith response. In 2020 we were seeing so many dealing with fear over their health and wanting to find products that supported their immune systems. We as a family decided the best way to support our immune system was to pray Psalm 91 over ourselves every night as a family. As Christians we were commanded to put on the full armor of God and pray at all times. We began to take seriously the necessity of praying with our children, putting verses that strengthen on the wall and fortifying our home with the Truth of God’s Word. Fear is a liar and if we don’t counter that spirit of fear with the truth then we will be shaken by culture and shifting sands. This is what led to the creation of our Home goods store in Sarasota Florida collections. 

We decided to take very seriously the call starting with infants and children with the home goods we created. We designed crib sheets and young warriors sheets for children with the Word of God, key verses for parents to read and pray over. The children having from the very beginning foundationally the truth prayed over them. The night time routine is very important and we wanted to create home goods that sewed into that child’s experience in their room, bed and walls that communicated to them their identity in Christ.  For parents to have a very practical teaching tool for establishing their child in resting, peace and breaking off fear from the night time. We believe in the power of the Word of God, and are confident that it brings its powerful comforting power. We are very intentional in that we pray over each product that goes out that the person who receives it will be blessed in every way. But especially the parents and little ones to have a very faith filled experience with the sheets, art work or teether.
